This book was about Liam and Melanie. Liam is a Prince in hiding. Melanie was hired to protect Liam and was told to do it with whatever means necessary. So Melanie ends up marrying him but little does he know she was doing it to protect him. The story starts out with a gunfight because they have found out where Liam is. Will these two find away to make life together or will it all blow up in their faces from all the deceit that has been going on? This was a short cute little story.

Liam Fitzwilliam Gasquet is a prince on the run. He had an argument with his parents and left the palace, not knowing someone was trying to kill him. But the king sent a woman, the only one he trusted, to protect him.
Melanie Babcot had a traumatic childhood, but when she was fifteen, she found wonderful people who saved her. They were the head of palace security, Paxman, and his wife. Therefore, she started to work in security too. When she started following Liam to protect him, she didn't know that she would fall in love with him or that she will eventually marry him.
They had only had a few months together before they were attacked and he found out the truth about her. Will his love be strong enough?
This is the third and the latest book from Ms. Sherry Gloag and I must say this is one of the best books I’ve ever read. She has a gift for revealing the story, the mystery, that draws and hold your attention. Ms. Sherry Gloag reaches us thru her characters, making us feel their emotions and feelings. This is a gift I hope she’ll never loose. I highly recommend this book and I give it 4.5 stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars fast-paced romantic suspense thriller,
December 3, 2011
By J. Gunnar Grey "the mystery writer"
This is a taut romantic suspense thriller, well written and edited. If you enjoy a fast-paced, sweet suspense story, then I strongly recommend it. Note this is a novella, not a novel.
[SPOILERS THIS PARAGRAPH] Husband and wife Liam and Melanie are not what they seem. He's a prince under cover, pretending to be a commoner while he sorts out his life and his relationship with the royal family; she's part of the king's security service, assigned to protect him. Neither has been honest with the other. They're madly in love and deeply committed, but when an assassin's bullets start to fly, can their love survive their lies?
Author Sherry Gloag allows no fluff in this novella, nor does she pander to lazy readers: if you want to keep up with her fast pace, then pay attention and keep up. The romance is sweet, the language clean and clever, the characters and plotline well developed. I had to "back and fill" a couple times while reading to follow the story, but that's my fault, not hers--I blinked while reading.
Five strong stars.

From Now Until Forever
Liam Fitzwilliam Gasquet, the youngest son of the King of a small European realm, argues with his parents and leaves home. In a snit, he travels throughout Europe and ends up in the British Isles, where he meets Melanie.
In the action packed opening scenes, an assassin attempts to kill Liam at the farm, where he works with horses. He'd applied for the job without announcing he was a prince-in-hiding.
Melanie, now his wife, returns fire and saves Liam's life. Unbeknownst to him, she is a member of the Palace security force. She calls for backup, and other security agents get them away from the farm and to a safe house.
During the escape from the farm the villains injure Melanie. The secrets Melanie and Liam withheld from each other causes Liam to doubt Melanie's reason for marrying him. Then Melanie doubts his love for her.
The head of security learns that the location of the safe house has been compromised. They move Liam to safety.
With the help of Paxman, the head of security, and members of the royal family, the pair resolve their problems. Love for one another keeps them together.
Well-written with lovely wording Liam and Melanie found places in my heart. Horse lovers will appreciate the couple's dedication to their horses.

4.0 out of 5 stars Is This A Marriage Made In Heaven?, April 18, 2012
By Fiction Books "Fiction Books"
I was making comparisons about the slightly rebellious, fictional characters in this book and the real-life characters which they might so easily depict, from just reading the synposis and without evening turning the first page.
I was worried that a book of some notional 90 pages, might well be insufficient to do the story justice. However, by the end of the book, I was pleasingly assured that Sherry had got this one just about spot on for length and content detail. She has ably managed to maintain the fine balance of an eye-catching beginning, a strong central storyline and an ending, which although could be construed as slightly inconclusive, had done its job of getting the message across to the reader, in an accomplished and polished piece of writing. If I were to highlight the one weak point in the storyline, then it would be the issue I would have with Liam never recognising Melanie when they met, even though she had been shadowing him for three years as his bodyguard. If she were that stunning, surely he would have noticed her and that she seemed to appear everywhere that he did?
The romance and marriage between Liam and Melanie wouldn't at first glance appear to be a `match made in heaven' and begged the question, was this a marriage based on lies or love? It was certainly a relationship which thrived on action and adventure, as the plot move along at a breakneck pace, complete with its unexpected twists and turns along the way, together with plenty of tension and an ongoing battle of wills between the young couple.
The characters developed and grew in strength and as the story progressed, with a new found maturity and mutual support underpinning their relationship. They were both made painfully aware of all they had to lose, including each other, causing an inner resolve and determination to rise to the surface. The couple faced Liam's parents united, each sure in the knowledge that they were resolved to continue with their marriage, after it had survived the tissue of lies on which it had at first been based and the tumultuous hardships it had endured along the way.
I also should comment on the changing attitudes of Liam's parents and the influence that the young couple brought to bear in this transformation. True, they had never closed the door on Liam, even when he decided, perhaps with little thought about how his actions might affect the stability and even safety of his family, that he didn't want to conform to the conventions of his position. Their open-mindedness to change would have been an enormous step forward for them and one they would have had to embrace with some caution and forethought. The sheer fact that they were prepared to accept change to save their relationship with their son, tells me just how much family values meant to them.
There seems to be two messages which feature strongly in this story.
There is the specific message that Royalty or Titled families are, by definition and tradition, subject to a more public scrutiny of both their public and private lives, although the younger, modern generation are rebelling against this austere regime, forcing change within the traditionalist hierarchy of the family.
Then there is the more generic message that, no matter what a child does, or where they go, the door never truly closes behind them and that when `the chips are down', they are still your son or daughter and will never be completly lost to you, or disowned by you and you will probably always defend them with your last breath, in an effort to see them enjoying a happy and fulfilled life.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fast Paced and Fun, January 25, 2012

Sherry Gloag has a way with words and with characterization. I found FROM NOW UNTIL FOREVER to be fast and fun. I always enjoy lovers on the run and it was easy to get caught up in their story and root for Liam and Melanie.
This is quick read as it's a novella, but that doesn't mean it's lacking in plot. Ms. Gloag builds tension, drops in tight cliff-hangers and leaves us with a satisfying, romantic conclusion. I look forward to reading more from her.

This book is a cute little love-drama-action story. It has a wonderful and innovative premise at its base.
The characters are well developed, the story is interesting and the book makes for a nice short read.
I love myself some kick-ass female character and it has one of those as its main one. :)
Pick this up if you are looking for a quick romantic-action read.
I wished it was longer and it had more of action though.

3.0 out of 5 stars I liked the characters but the plot was a little bit threadbare, February 5, 2012
By Marlene @ Reading Reality
From Now Until Forever by Sherry Gloag is a contemporary romance that blends the old school and the new. The heroine is very much a product of the here-and-now, but the plot belongs to an earlier time. It almost works.
The story begins with Liam Fitzwilliam Gasquet being shot at. At first, he thinks it's just some trigger-happy idiots out in the woods, but then he comes to the reluctant conclusion that the insurgents trying to oust his father from the throne of their pocket-sized country on the Swiss border have finally found him. Liam has been travelling around the world for three years, trying to stay under the radar, and he's finally been found. Since Liam is the third son, he's been vainly hoping that his attempts to remain anonymous have been successful. It's suddenly and painfully obvious to him that they haven't.
Liam is in Scotland, and has been running a riding school for disabled children with his wife, Melanie, for the last six months. He thinks that Melanie doesn't know he's a prince. He doesn't know that Melanie is the head of his security detail. She tailed him all over Europe. When he spotted her in a restaurant, the instant chemistry between them derailed both his normal "love 'em and leave 'em" nature and her duty to remain in the shadows.
When the bullets start flying and they have to escape their formerly secure home, the life they have built together falls apart. When the lies come crashing down, the walls come up between them. But can they find a way to be together, when everything they thought they had was built on deceit?
And will they live long enough to find out?
Escape Rating C+: I have mixed feelings about this book. I liked the characters. Melanie and Liam are both interesting people. Mel raised herself up from nothing to be a security officer, and she's good at her job. Even when she marries Liam, she never stops being his security chief, he just doesn't know it. Liam isn't a spoiled prince, he's trying to be his own man, he just doesn't go about it very well. But neither do a lot of people. I had difficulty with the whole "secret prince of the tiny country" thing. That plot device seemed both too formulaic and unrealistic to me. It tripped my "willing suspension of disbelief" alarm, and that alarm kept ringing. Those are very few of those teeny, tiny countries left these days. Also, Liam trying to live anonymously in 21st century Europe is just not possible anymore, unless one seriously wants to live off the grid. And Liam clearly likes his horses and his plesaures. He couldn't have expected to be anonymous.
I liked the characters, but the plot was thin, or not contemporary. I've seen this plot used in space opera, and it definitely works in that context. But not here and now, not anymore. Or just not for this reviewer.

Words to Follow review by Shellby
REVIEW: Ok, this story has great potential. Problem for me was that there didn't seem to be enough substance to it. I know it was supposed to be short, but everything happened so fast that I didn't connect to the characters as well as I know I could have, had it been longer. I REALLY did love the whole story plot. It is different from what I have read recently and it was quite refreshing. I liked how Prince Liam was a playboy until Melanie came into his life. How he couldn't see her like any other woman he had ever been with. I also loved how the characters were stubborn...that always makes for a bit of humor. The one thing I liked most was how Liam and Melanie always seemed bonded to each other no matter the situation. Even if they tried not to care. Overall, I really liked From Now Until Forever. I wanted to love it, since I thought the whole story was very creative, but there just wasn't enough there.

For Prince Liam, families meant bad news, unwanted commitments, and the loss of his personal freedom. Love spawned white picket fences, slippers at the hearth with a wife and kids making demands, so why did those images disappear when he met Melanie Babcot?
Melanie Babcot fought hard to escape the horrors of her youth and vowed to remain single and free, so when paid to protect Prince Liam from insurgents why did her personal pledge fly out the window?
From Now Until Forever sports a warm, slightly simple cover and in this case: what you see couldn't be further from what you get.
You see, Liam is a prince and Melanie is not his wife nor girlfriend, but his protector. Violence erupts at the outset, and I understood immediately that he needed protection, and appreciated Melanie for her abilities as well. More slowly, I come to understand the dangers Liam lives with and to some degree at least, chose.
Their relationship at first seems both difficult and occasionally adversarial, yet, underneath each of their efforts to maintain a 'pretend' relationship, a real one is developing. Sadly; they're both in danger. Neither has been completely honest with the other. This hardly seems a great place for a more meaningful relationship to start.
The suspense and complexity build throughout the story. Attention to detail is plainly important to the author - and so also, the reader. Speaking of details: this reader loved the backdrop, the perfectly-described action, and most especially the chase scenes! They are always exciting but somehow also fun.
Fast, unpredictable and yet featuring all the best of a genuine romance: Do read.

From Now Until Forever by Sherry Gloag is about the prince of a pocket European country and the female security chief his parents have entrusted with his safety. When they fall in love and marry, while still keeping their identities secret from each other, their life is idyllic until the prince becomes the target of an assassination attempt and their secrets come between them. The characters are extremely likeable, and the plot works surprisingly well.

3 stars - Actione-Love story, June 29, 2012

When I first started to read it I was a little confused on what was going on, it was a little hard to follow. I also didn't really feel any connection with the characters . I am happy it was a clean read.

Great romantic suspense, October 5, 2012

A delicious romance between the hunky Liam and the sassy independent heroine. Add in the spice of a great suspense and you've got the recipe for an excellent read.

Reading Reality – December 2011
this book is perfect for those looking for a sweet romance with a Happily Ever After and some romantic suspense.
